Each AveoFlash™ E-Series wingtip light weighs in at less than 3 ounces (a huge weight savings over other manufacturer's Nav / Strobe units).
AveoFlash™ E-Series lights come encased in a clear Aveo Diamidium™ epoxy resin that is basically indestructible and water- and vapor-tight.
AveoFlash™ E-Series lights use High-Candela Light Emitting Diodes. These are brighter than comparable NAV/Strobe lights from any other manufacturer. The FAA wants 400 Candela output from wingtip strobes - each AveoFlash™ E-Series LSA wingtip light delivers over 800 Candela & the E-Series Ultras over 1000 Candela - brighter than most conventional Xenon-tube strobes!!
A pair of AveoFlash™ E-Series wingtip NAV/Strobe lights draws only an average of .5 Amps of power; with the lower power draw, the builder can now run just 18 AWG stranded, unshielded wire to each light.
All AveoFlash™ E-Series lights are universally 9-32 VDC, and feature Aveo's patented "FLEXIBLE PC BOARD" technology. AveoFlash™ E-Series lights are totally self-contained, and require no separate flash module, so you save that weight and also virtually eliminate RF noise (a common problem with ordinary NAV/Strobe units from other manufacturers).

I have Aveo's 2008-Series wingtip lights installed on my Cessna. One morning, while I was doing my pre-flight inspection, I noticed that someone's aircraft had hit my Aveo light, shearing off the top part of the light. I thought to myself, "Oh, great, now I gotta buy another replacement light!!"!! I switched on the lights, and, to my great surprise, the light still worked. I took the light off the plane, filed down the rough area, polished it a little, and reinstalled it on my plane. It's still working great!! Try doing that with any other wingtip light on the market!!! Ha!
